Duel Reel Spare Spools

A unique feature of the Duel Reel is the spare spool system. By simply substituting the spool, a quick and efficient line change is possible. Imagine a long, drawn out fight during which you and your line have been tested to the limits. Instead of having a reel out of service until you can put new line on it, just pop in a new spool with fresh line. It's like having two reels at a fraction of the price. To remove the old spool and insert the new one, simply remove the side plate which is locked in place by four screws. The spool includes drag rings and springs; by changing the number of springs, you can adjust your drag to suit different line tests. It's possible to have spare spools with drags set on medium, light and heavy loads.
