Max Bait Tray System

Max Bait Trays are designed to easily stack, interlocking with the other trays. The different tray depths are interchangeable and can be arranged to meet your bait storage needs. Made with marine grade powder coating for easy cleaning and the trays are white to reflect the sun's heat when exposed, unlike the stainless systems which absorb the heat. There are 2 depths of trays available for a variety of well insulated coolers. The standard size trays are 2.3-inches deep and make it easy for any angler to properly store and keep fresh a variety of rigged baits, including whole ballyhoo or even rigged strip baits. Deeper 3.9-inch deep trays are also available and will accommodate frozen boxes of sardines, squid, swimming mullet, spanish mackerel and chum.

This keeps the bait from becoming mush when exposed to melted ice.

The patented design conducts the cold up the stack to the trays above. The ice in the bottom of the cooler comes in contact with the bottom tray and the cold is conducted to the tray above. As the tray comes in contact with the bottom of the tray above it, the cold is conducted through the stack. This system keeps the bait much fresher than systems where the trays just hang in the cooler depending on the ice to cool it without contact.

This system is designed with a cutting board that will fit into any of the trays located at the top of the cooler. It allows the angler to cut their bait and place the board back into the top of the cooler to keep it out of the way. It also keep your bait fresher. The dense board acts as an insulator since the top of the cooler is where most of the heat exchange happens. By providing more insulation in the top of the cooler, the board increases the life of the ice and bait.

Size designed to fit half of the cooler, two trays will fit side-by-side.
