  Glass lenses are heavy

I owned both the plastic and glass lenses for this frame and found the plastic lenses were light and fit well but didn't block out as much glare as the glass lenses. The glass lenses protected my eyes really well but after an hour of wearing them they felt very heavy on my nose and I would have to take them off. If you prefer glass lenses, I would suggest going with a pair of Maui Jim's. MJ's fit great and I can comfortably wear my Stingray's for hours. However, the best sunglasses I've ever worn are Kaenon's. Great protection, great fit, and the lightest sunglasses I've ever put on. These are definately a step up from my MJ's.
