Top Shot stick gaffs feature the same stainless gaff head design as Top Shot flyers. Handles are of semi-rigid, fiberglass construction capable of deflecting up to 25 degrees under extreme load while not breaking. Unlike aluminum gaffs, stainless and fiberglass construction is totally impervious to corrosion.

I use this gaff for halibut fishing and I have never lost a fish. With the traditional "C" shaped gaff it was not uncommon to loose a fish at the boat when they really start fighting to get off. The razor sharp point penetrates quickly and completely through the fish.
You will not be disappointed with this gaff.
