Rigging Shimano Lucanus JigsIf fishing slow current or shallow water up to 200 feet, fish the Lucanus Jig tied directly to the main line. If fishing fast current or deeper water, rig with a drop shot attached to at least seven feet of mono tied to the botton eyelet. If fishing outside California waters, a double jig rig may be utilized for multiple opportunities to land bottom dwellers. It is recommended that anglers fish a lighter Lucanus Jig (60 or 80 grams) above a heavier model (150 to 200 grams). |
