The Sinking tail design on the Daiwa Saltiga Pencil imitates a weakened or injured baitfish gasping at the surface. Offers 3-D scale design, realistic eyes and Daiwa's patented open gill design. Through wire construction anchors line and hooks to a single, heavy-strand wire for maximum resistance to those toothy predators.
Water and air bubbles are forced through the gill plates as well as splashing forward for added sound and commotion.
7 Inch Size - As hook requirements vary widely for a lure of this size, hooks are not included. 150lb. split rings are provided for hook attachment. In general, recommended hook sizes are 2/0 or 3/0.
