The Spheros FB Spinning Reels are a workhorse, preferred by the country's top saltwater guides, due to its ability to withstand the tough marine environment, thanks to its waterproof drag. It includes 4 bearings (5 on 14000 & 18000), Dartanium drag, and an aluminum frame (Holds up to 24 lbs. of drag, Stopperless Design, Graphite side plate, Easy Access Drag, and Rubber Handle Grips). Not only can the Spheros take it, it can dish it out too, with up to 44 pounds of drag.

  My choice every time

Was turned on to these reels by my local tackle guy and he was right ! I have 1 - 3000 and 3 -4000's they are evry bit as good as my stradic at half the price. Also I bought two of the larger reels loaded with 25 lb mono that I fish nearshore with balloon rigs for Big kings and Im very happy with those also . weighed in a 16.9 at last king of beach tourney and have caught many in 20 lb range . these reels handle it , very smooth drag. No Problem !!!
